Long time since last post

I don't know where time goes to... I've been busy preparing outlines of some new stories and looking for some new ways to market my existing books. Still waiting on a couple of the new covers from the publisher and hope can get these and get some of the existing books relaunched in time for the festive season...

Audio/interactive books

Just exploring the idea of making some of the books already published into either audio books or interactive books, with the characters able to move around the page. One of my publishers has also been looking at this and it's something I'm quite keen to explore further. With the ever increasing use of I-pads, Kindle etc then, hopefully, sales can last that much longer.

On the publishing side, it's planned to get another couple of my books published in the next six weeks or so, then I'll start looking at some more writing - although my 'adult' books are taking up a lot of time at present...

Solstice's Summer promotions

Understand that Solstice are planning a major summer promotion for all of their childrens' books under the Fairytales and Dreams imprint. The daily newsletter on Yahoo Groups seems to be working well also and receiving a fair bit of attention.

Still looking forward to the next set of revised covers from Solstice but expect this will be next month as they are gradually phasing in all 13 books I have contracted with them for.

Almost time to start on some new ones, let's see what the next few weeks brings....

New books, new covers

Solstice Publishing are working on some new covers for my books and I hope they'll be available in the next two or three weeks. In the meantime, I've joined Solstice Groups news letters and get a daily update on things happening reelvant to my stories. All in all an exciting time and hope all this effort translates into more sales! Hope to post a new cover or two next time.

Busy times

Wow, a month has slipped by since my last entry - busy indeed; 'Combo 3', 'Terry The Turtle', 'Spider' and 'Mice are Nice' are now all available on Solstice Books, Fairytales and Dreams' imprint. They have been actively promoting my books by their daily news updates plus other channels and here's hoping sales continue.

Have a couple of new ideas in the works just need to find the time to sit down and put pen to paper, or fingers to keyboard as it were. Still, with a couple of holidays on the horizon, have some spare time coming up over the next month or so. In the meantime, check the publishers web sites list on this blog and see if you can find one of my books to suit.... btw here's the cover of 'Spider' again seems this is becoming a favourite!
